The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the Exam Date for the SSC CHTE 2025 recruitment. The Paper-II (Descriptive) Examination will be conducted on 14 December 2025. - Paper-I (CBT) Exam Date: 12 August 2025
- Paper-II (Descriptive) Exam Date: 14 December 2025

- Women / SC / ST / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen: Nil
Age Limit (as on 26-06-2025)
- For Sub-Inspector (Hindi Translator) in CRPF: 18–30 Years
- For All Other Posts: 18–30 Years
- Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
Eligibility
- Master’s Degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory/elective subject or vice versa.
- OR Master’s Degree in any subject with Hindi/English medium and English/Hindi as compulsory subject.
- OR Master’s Degree with Hindi & English as compulsory or elective subjects.
- OR Diploma/Certificate in Translation (Hindi to English & vice versa) or 2 years translation experience.
