- SSC/10th Standard with Science + ITI Certificate in relevant trade OR
- SSC/10th Standard with 55% marks + 2 or 3 years Technician Apprentice Training
- Out of 15 Technician posts, 2 posts reserved for Ex-Servicemen.
- 1 post in Technician & 1 post in Technical Assistant reserved for PwBD.

- Technician (1): Pay Level-2 (₹19,900 – ₹63,200)
- Technical Assistant: Pay Level-6 (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400)
