The Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) has released the official notification for the recruitment of Professor posts. Eligible candidates can apply online from 17 November 2025 to 08 December 2025 through the official website gndu.ac.in.

Application Fee
- For Other: Rs. 1180/-
- For SC/ST & PWD candidates: Rs. 590/-
- The SC/ST and PWD candidates who are not domicile of the State of Punjab shall have to pay the application fee of Rs. 1180/-
Age Limit (as on last date)
- Maximum Age: 58 Years
- Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
Eligibility
- An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, with published work of high quality and actively engaged in research with evidence of published work — minimum of 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed/UGC CARE journals and a total research score of 120 as per UGC Regulations July 2018.
- A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor and/or research experience at equivalent level in University/National Level Institutions with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidates. OR
- An outstanding professional with a Ph.D. in relevant/allied/applied disciplines from academic institutions/industry who has made significant contribution to knowledge in the discipline, provided they have ten years’ experience.
