The Indian Army has released the official notification for the recruitment of Direct Entry Havildar & Naib Subedar (Sports) posts under Sports Quota Intake Ser No 05/2025. Eligible unmarried male and female candidates can apply offline by post from now until 15 December 2025 through the official website joinindianarmy.nic.in.

- Sports achievements at International/Junior/Senior National Championship/Khelo India Games/Youth Games/Khelo India University Games from 01 October 2023 onwards.
- Only unmarried male and female candidates are eligible.

Physical Standards
- Height (Male): Region-wise 157 cm to 170 cm minimum depending on region
- Height (Female): 162 cm (Special relaxation 4 cm for certain regions)
- Weight: Proportionate to height and age
- Chest Expansion (Male): Minimum 5 cm
Pay Scale
- Havildar & Naib Subedar: As per Army Pay Rules 2017 plus admissible allowances
