The Intelligence Bureau (IB) has released the official notification for the recruitment of Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) for the year 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from 22 November 2025 to 14 December 2025 through the official website mha.gov.in.

- Start Date to Apply Online: 22 November 2025
- Last Date to Apply Online: 14 December 2025 (till 23:59 hours)
- Last Date for Fee Payment via SBI Challan: 16 December 2025
Application Fee
- General/OBC/EWS (Male): Rs. 650 (Recruitment Processing Charges Rs. 550 + Exam Fee Rs. 100)
- SC/ST, Women, PwBD, Eligible Ex-Servicemen: Rs. 550 (Processing Charges only)
- Ex-Servicemen employed in Govt. post after availing reservation benefits: Rs. 650
Age Limit (as on 14-12-2025)
- UR: 18 to 25 Years
- OBC: 18 to 28 Years
- SC/ST: 18 to 30 Years
- Departmental candidates: up to 40 years if 3 years continuous service
- Widows/divorced/judicially separated women: UR-35, OBC-38, SC/ST-40
- PwBD: UR-28, OBC-31, SC/ST-33 (not exceeding 56 years)
- Ex-Servicemen: as per government instructions
Eligibility
- Matriculation (10th pass) from a recognized board
- Indian Nationals only
- Possession of domicile certificate for the State applied

- Level – 1: Rs. 18,000 – 56,900/- plus admissible allowances including Special Security Allowance and holiday duty compensation
