The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Trichy has released the official notification for PhD Admission January 2026 Session across 17 departments. Eligible candidates can apply online from 14 November 2025 to 10 December 2025 through the official website nitt.edu.

Eligibility
- GEN / GEN-EWS / OBC-NCL: 60% aggregate or CGPA 6.5/10 (UG & PG both)
- SC / ST / PwD: 55% aggregate or CGPA 6.0/10 (UG & PG both)
- PhD Program available in Engineering, Sciences, Management, Humanities & Social Sciences.
- Part-time and external registration available; some categories may be exempted from GATE.
