Eligibility
- General: Full Time Regular Degree/Diploma/ITI from recognized University/Institute/Board with 50-60% marks (45-55% for reserved categories).
- Assistant Engineer (OT)/Electrical: BE/B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics, min 60% marks.
- Assistant Manager (IT): BE/B.Tech in CS/IT or MCA, min 60% marks.
- Accounts Officer: CA/ICWA or M.Com, min 60% marks.
- Divisional Accountant: CA Inter or equivalent.
- Junior Engineer/Electrical: 3-year Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engg., min 50% marks.
- Junior/Civil: 3-year Diploma in Civil Engg., min 50% marks.
- Junior Communication Engineer: BE/B.Tech in Electronics/Telecom, min 50% marks.
- Law Officer Grade-II: LLB + 3 years experience, min 55% marks.
- Telephone Mechanic: Diploma in Electronics & Communication, min 50% marks.
- Lower Division Clerk/Typist: Bachelor’s + 120 Hrs Computer Course, min 50% marks.
- Lower Division Clerk (Accounts): B.Com + Computer Course, min 50% marks.
- Assistant Lineman / Sub Station Attendant: 10th + ITI.
- Electrician Grade-II: ITI + Matric or Diploma in Electrical Engg.
- Punjabi language proficiency up to Matric standard required for all posts.

Pay Scale
- Assistant Engineer / Assistant Manager / Accounts Officer: Rs. 47600-3%
- Divisional Accountant / Junior Engineer: Rs. 35400-3%
- Other Posts: Rs. 35400-3% or Rs. 19900-3% as applicable.
- Allowances as per PSTCL rules; 2 years probation.
