The School Education Department, Government of Telangana, has released the official notification for the Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test (TS TET) 2026 for Classes I to VIII. Eligible candidates can apply online from 15 November 2025 to 29 November 2025 through the official websites schooledu.telangana.gov.in or tgtet.aptonline.in.
Important Dates
- Notification Release: 14 November 2025
- Start Date to Apply Online: 15 November 2025
- Last Date to Apply Online: 29 November 2025 (till 11:50 PM)
- Admit Card Available: 27 December 2025
- Exam Date: 03 January 2026 to 31 January 2026
- Result Release: 10–16 February 2026
Application Fee
- Either Paper 1 or Paper 2: ₹750/-
- Both Papers: ₹1000/-
Eligibility
- Minimum 50% marks in 10+2 (Intermediate) with D.El.Ed/B.Ed or equivalent.
- Reserved categories (SC/ST/PH): 45% marks required.
- Final-year students of teacher training courses are also eligible.
- Paper 1: For Classes I–V (Primary Teachers)
- Paper 2: For Classes VI–VIII (Upper Primary Teachers)
Exam Pattern & Syllabus
- Two Papers: Paper 1 & Paper 2
- Each paper has 150 MCQs (1 mark each)
- Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes
- Paper 1 Subjects: Child Development, Language I & II, Maths, EVS
- Paper 2 Subjects: Child Development, Language I & II, Maths & Science OR Social Studies
